      Description

      I'm trying to install Jenkins to a RHEL 7 system whose internet access has to be whitelisted. This causes problems with the Jenkins YUM mirror setup, as using the default https://pkg.jenkins.io/redhat-stable repo means I'll get redirected to a random (i.e. not-whitelisted) mirror.

      What I need to be able to do is "pin" a specific mirror and use it. I've created the following /etc/yum.repos.d/Jenkins-stable.repo file:

      [Jenkins-stable]
      baseurl = http://ftp-nyc.osuosl.org/pub/jenkins/redhat-stable
      gpgcheck = 1
      gpgkey = http://ftp-nyc.osuosl.org/pub/jenkins/redhat-stable/jenkins.io.key
      name = Jenkins release repo from https://jenkins.io/download/.

      Unfortunately, yum dies with HTTP 404 errors about being unable to get to http://ftp-nyc.osuosl.org/pub/jenkins/redhat-stable/repodata/repomd.xml. Any chance this file could get pushed out to the mirrors?
