      Description

      Would like a field added to the HOSTING project to allow the submitter to select whether they want to use Jira or GitHub Issues for their plugin/component. Having the field in place before updating the bot would be preferred. It would be preferred to have a drop down selection with the two options, but I am open to other implementations.

          Done, see e.g. HOSTING-1049.

          It's a mandatory field, so newly created issues will have to make a selection.

          This might interfere with existing (open) issues however, I recommend you make an explicit selection for those.
