Sync code on slave from perforce to one workspace, then change slave's "Remote FS root" and sync again, code is not synced in new workspace

[JENKINS-13907] Slave root directory changed, code on perforce is not synced.

Always sync files. It's perforce architecture.

Always force sync is not a valid option for most people due to time constraints. Perforce doesn't track workspace state on disk, so the user needs to trigger a one-time force sync when the workspace gets cleared. Ideally, the perforce client should be able to tell if a workspace has been cleared, but since this is not the case the perforce plugin should try to handle this better automatically.

Agreed, Perforce plugin can recreate workspace when its absolute path differs from server. On the other hand, such feature should be managed by additional checkbox.
