Allow promotions to run in parallel

      Hi,

      I would like to request the addition of a flag to allow the promotion process to run in parallel. For example, we have a promotion process which occurs on 2 servers in a HA environment, at the moment it runs on 1, then returns and runs on 2. I would like to have this run at the same time.
