added a comment - I have scripts that I use to install unity3d from the command line:
https://bitbucket.org/WeWantToKnow/unity3d_scripts
works on mac os x, unfinalized on Windows. Please try them and see if that works for you.
Now that I have stabilized this plugin, I am currently thinking of moving the running and intalling of unity3d into a command line tool, as a mix of shenzhen/ipa and https://github.com/neonichu/xcode-install. It would be better if this feature was completely outside jenkins for real CLI usage.

added a comment - Sadly, with Unity 5, and how they shifted to a "customized modules" setup, this makes it extremely tricky. They've said they're coming up with alternatives to accomplish it, but haven't seen anything yet.
We run a farm of 20+ nodes and a dozen versions simultaneously across 10+ projects so have been working with Unity to accomplish this but it's slow going

Now that Unity 5.x has command line licensing, this would be possible. Would also be handy to have option to specify directory to which it gets installed so as to have multiple versions of Unity installed simultaneously.
