Unable to get Branch to build variable to work with wildcard

      I've included a snapshot of our git config in Jenkins. I'm trying to get a parameterized build to work by passing in a variable containing the branch I want built. It keeps checking out the branch that has the latest commit. Am I missing something obvious?

          I'm specifically having issues with getting a variable name such as "origin/hotfix**" to work.
