Kojak currently copies files of a preconfigured Jenkins instance over to its local instance in order to deliver pre-configuration. This is not without issue as the Kojak repository size can grow. Its also not an efficient way to configure Jenkins. Having a reliable REST/CURL command set that can be executed instead would be great.

We now simply install via rpm and pull the configuration files over which reduces the footprint considerably. Version 5 of Kojak will support docker and a pre-configured Jenkins docker container will be shipped.
