Reverse proxy auth plugin v1.4.0 gives NullPointerException

      When updating the reverse proxy auth plugin to v1.4.0 on Jenkins v1.175 (tested with v1.3.3 as well) results in a NullPointerException, preventing me to do anything. Disabling security and reverting to v1.0.1 (the version i updated from) gives me access again, but I want to stay current with the updates.
