For multibranch workflow integration you need a branch source, a different design than this plugin currently uses. CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise includes a plugin which does exactly this for GitHub. There is currently no OSS equivalent; you can use github-branch-source to automatically build branches in an origin repository, but you miss support for PRs filed from forked repositories, and for build status notification.
BTW the CCE is a bug, not an unimplemented RFE; this code is simply wrong.

Any news on get it compatible to pipeline (aka workflow)... This would be an awesome addition 
I am not sure how to make these compatible, and if it will take more work than just changing over from AbstractProject to Job. If anyone would like to have a go at it I will be sure to review the PR and get it released.
