    Description

      Near to the versions drop down, the Maven Metadata Plugin should optionally provide an information about the currently used artifact version - which e.g. was selected with the last build.

          Original issue JENKINS-29433 was lost with Wiki and issue tracker outage. I just created a new one with very basis description here. Some more information can be found in Pull Request 7 for maven-metadata-plugin.
