Add a release parameter $TFS_BRANCH
Set project path $/Test/$TFS_BRANCH
Add a TFS Label

Run the release job :
Creating label 'test 1.0.0' on '$/Test/$TFS_BRANCH' as of the current version in workspace

The variable $TFS_BRANCH is not changed by his value
