In the Delivery Pipeline View, I use the Jenkins' built-in Job description text field to provide instructions on how to use the pipeline and, specifically, what each job does in the pipeline. After saving in Edit View this description is always deleted.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Click on "add description" in the Delivery Pipeline view.
2) Add some text.
3) Click on Edit View and click OK.
4) Text in description box is deleted.
