In our company LDAP we have users and groups and in some cases they are spelled exactly as the same. For e.g. there is an user called "j2ee" and also there is a group called "j2ee".

Now I want do declare some groups in the "Global security" under "Authorization". If I'm adding "j2ee" and press "Add" jenkins will find the user "j2ee" but not the group. If there is only a group without a user with the same name (e.g. "Services") everything works fine.

Do you know what I mean?

      Thank you in advance

      Martin

I'm asking again. Are there any hints?

In order to set proper expectation, I have unassigned Kohsuke from this tickets.
Currently there is no Default assignee in the LDAP plugin, any contributions will be appreciated.
