This seems like a fairly simple plugin interaction problem.

1. I had "Periodic Reincarnation version 1.9" installed and it was working.without problems for more than a year. (starting on Jenkins 1.x and carrying over to 2.x)
2. I installed "Accelerated Build Now version 1.0.1" and...
   • "Reincarnation" stopped working the next time it should have done something
     • the next failed job for it to restart was a test job early in the morning, and it did not restart
     • and it show no activity in the logs
   • Accelerated Build Now seemed to work the few times I used it
3. I uninstalled "Accelerated Build Now"
   • restart was required, but that was expected
4. And "Periodic Reincarnation" started working immediately.
   • • tested on a simple test job (which just echo text and exited)

This is low priority for me because "Accelerated Build Now" is not important to my setup.
