Make sure ModelValidatorImpl/ModelParser/JsonParser error conditions are fully exercised

      Check test coverage results to see what paths in ModelValidatorImpl, ModelParser and JsonParser are not being executed and add testing to cover those paths. This is overwhelmingly, if not entirely, error conditions and shouldn't be very sizable, but should still be done.
