    • Multibranch Pipeline 2.14

After upgrading the Multibranch Pipeline plugin from version 2.9.2 to 2.14 we noticed the following unexpected regression:

It is no longer possible to create custom views for multi-branch pipeline jobs, and any custom views previously created are gone.

The multi-branch jobs have now a single "Branches(N)" view without the possibility to modify this view or create a custom one. We had custom views defined for such projects with additional columns such as "Test Result" from the "Extra Columns Plug-In" and that worked very well.

We also found this to be the case on upgrading to the latest plugins.

We have a large number of repositories – The custom views was a nice way to be able to group them for users.  To us, this is a much missed feature.

I think this possibility was deliberately removed but stephenconnolly could elaborate.

          I'm also interested in this.
I'd like to have a `All` view that would group the branch and PR jobs. This has two pros for me:

          • avoid having a job 'jump' from one view to the next when the PR is created which is confusing
          • make it easier to find the job related to a specific dev with a single place to `ctrl-f` from my web browser

I'm open to implementing something, even if it's not re-adding custom views but maybe adding a new baked-in All view. I can open a separate issue if need be in that case.

stephenconnolly any input on this please? 🙏
