      Description

I don't know if it is possible to trigger a scheduled job from inside the pipline. Now we can trigger jobs using the "build" stage but there is zero documentation regarding scheduling a job from groovy pipelines.

          Hi Sorin Sbarnea,

schedule-build-plugin does not provide any custom pipeline step.
The "build" step has a parameter called "quietPeriod" that can be used to start the build later. E.g.:

build job: 'your_job_name', quietPeriod: 7200, wait: false

Setting the "wait" parameter to false causes the calling job to finish without waiting for the scheduled job to finish.

          Does this meet your requirements?
