Blue Ocean auto-bundling can get into an infinite loop

    • Blue Ocean 1.4 - beta 3, Blue Ocean 1.4 - beta 2, Blue Ocean - Candidates

An incompatible plugin might cause the auto-bundling to get into an infinite loop. An example is the stage-view plugin, as it bundles files into src/main/webapp

The workaround to this issue is to develop any plugin in this scenario without having Blue Ocean installed. This issue only occurs if a plugin is hpi:hpl'd to a Jenkins development instance that has Blue Ocean, or a user manually installs Blue Ocean (as it is not installed / available during the install wizard). Another, better solution is to fix the plugin not to generate files in the src directory.
