Setting CSP to allow .js or .css files to get downloaded doesn't work for HTMLs over the mail.

    • Jenkins is installed in Tomcat container.
      Jenkins version 2.60.3

      Setting up the CSPs to allow .css, .js files for html doesn't work for Emails with HTML body.

      Still I am getting Simple HTML page without CSS.

      It worked perfectly for HTML publisher plugin.

          Need more info, are you referencing external files in the emails that are downloaded from jenkins or are they being included in the email as attachments. (JS files do not work in emails no matter what you do)

          No js file is being attached to mail. PFA for sample HTML file which I am using for sending the mail. Please give your comments on it. sample.html

          1. That file requires javascript doesn't work so well without it
          2. The css files it uses are not hosted on jenkins so will not be affected by CSP
          3. Sending the contents of that file as the body of an email works as well as I expected for me
