      A JEP needs to be written once we have figured out the basics and understand what we will need.

          Marking this as blocked by JENKINS-51766 since we really need to actually tackle/know how instances are going to register their flavors to have the full cycle.

          Once this is done, we will be able to write this JEP.

          Quick heads-up here, now the Docker, and AWS flavors are done, I am not sure anymore this subject alone deserves a JEP on its own.

          We should be able to see this even more clearly with the experience gathered around JENKINS-51766 that asmith_cb is wrapping up just now.

          I do not see the need anymore/currently for this one. We will reopen if somebody disagrees (with the right arguments ).
