Thanks for reporting this.

I am uploading the fixed plugin (whitelisting the relevant classes in use), I would appreciate if you can confirm to me that it works for you. It is split in two compressing files, you'll need both to extract the hpi file.

Please notice that the attached plugin has been built and packaged locally and is not part of a formal build release. It contains several fixes and enhancements not related to this particular request and QA didn't verify all of them.

The attached plugin solves the TimeSlotDuration issue, but I then hit a second very similar issue related to 'SimpleDateFormat'. However, this only appears when I save the job or apply changes. It doesn't stop the changes from being saved, and I am also able to build the job successfully. I have also confirmed in Performance Center that the test has been run.

We do use "SimpleDateFormat" (java.text.SimpleDateFormat) in order to display date and time in the logs. It is native so I am not sure why it is not whitelisted by default.

Anyway, I'll add it to our whitelist.

"SimpleDateFormat" is also added to the whitelist. You can use the newly attached plugin in which TimeslotDuration and SimpleDateFormat are whitelisted.

Is there a way we can get a list of all the classes you use that need whitelisting, or is it a case that we need to detect each one in turn?

Umesh, regarding your error, I have sometimes seen that when using Windows file compression to extract zip files. We use 7zip here for extracting files, it seems to work fine.

simon_norris : Even I tried with 7-Zip also, getting similar error:  

Do you have both files, the .zip and the .z01 file downloaded and in the same directory? I can also see that Windows has renamed the file due to a duplicate, the (1) has been added. I would recommend removing all old copies of the files and removing the (1) from the filename.

Permitting DecimalFormat and SimpleDateFormat is a bad idea IMHO. If you use these persisted classes for date formatting, you are always at risk of concurrency issues. These classes are not thread-safe. My recommendation would be to rework the code and to avoid caching these classes at all

I can confirm the latest version of the plugin allows build steps to be applied or saved without error. The issue now is that the build does not wait for the test to finish, my comment of 20th July above shows the detail (Error code 1001). The test does run in Performance Center but it isn't fed back to the Jenkins job. 

Would a new bug be appropriate or should it continue within this one?

With updated plugin, I am able to save the job, but when run build .. I am getting another exception like below:

Could you please try to create a new freestyle project or use an existing one in which you delete the old Performance Center build step and recreate a new one from scratch (do not use a build step created with a previous version of this plugin).

Please let me know if the job runs correctly in it.
