It looks like a stackoverflow. See attachment.
Same issue is faced when we try to make changes in the views.

if you disable xfpanel plugin, then does it work?
what version of xfpanel do you have?

I cannot restart Hudson at this moment, so I cannot disable the plugin.
We are using the latest version of xfpanel plugin: 1.0.7
We have also the sectionedview plugin installed

I updated today to the latest Hudson (from 1.340 to 1.341) and disabled the claim plugin and updated the sectioned view plugin and I don't face these issues any more, so I doubt whether it has to do with the xfpanel plugin.
I think it is related to ticket 5061

Changing the configuration of the second node (after restart) results again in the reported issue (see hudsonSaveIssue.htm).
So it is not solved with disabling the Claim plugin

Any news on this issue? We still face this.
Every time we need to make changes to the configuration slaves we need to restart Hudson (several times)

We still face the issue. After restarting we can make 1 changes and save successful. After that we face save issues on anything which needs to be written to the main config.xml (JDK changes, lock and latches, view changes etc)

I do not even have xfpanel installed. So I would say it has nothing to do with it.

As emanuelelhardt reports, this issue occures without xfpanel as well, so it is not typical to xfpanel plugin.
As soon as we face this issue, the changes we make are not saved to disk. As soon as we reboot Hudson, the changes are lost.
