Align/fix the codebase to use flavor everywhere instead of environment

      In the codebase, for instance in tests or in the specific image builds, we use the term "environment" as directory names and the likes. We should make this consistent and use flavor everywhere to reduce the WTF/line ratio.

      This is even more important because we want to make it easy for people to contribute to the project. And because it is very likely that more people are going to be made available to work on the project rather sooner than later.
