Joda time recommends using java.time in Java 8 and later

The Joda time library home page says:

Note that from Java SE 8 onwards, users are asked to migrate to java.time (JSR-310) - a core part of the JDK which replaces this project.

The git plugin should move away from using Joda time to use the java.time libraries provided with Java 8.
