          I am referring to the fact the documentation talks about "Projects" and "Agents" (especially for roles) but the UI calls them "Items" and "Nodes"

          Jenkins core itself is not consistent here e.g. on the page to add a new Node it say  "New Node" and "Node name", and the you can add a "Permanent Agent".

          Documentation since quite a while properly refers to item and agent.

          Item is preferred over project as e.g. it also applies to folders which are not projects
