Overriding the suggested release version is ignored (m2release)

      If you have a pom whos version 1.5-SNAPSHOT that you now want to release. After clicking 'perform maven release' you are prompted for a release and development version number.

      The plug-in suggests 1.6 and 1.6-SNAPSHOT.

      However if you enter 1.5.1 and 1.6-SNAPSHOT what is released is the suggested version.

      Hope that's clear.
