Request for change for the plugin: Micro Focus Application Automation Tools
Currently this plugin looks for test cases in the Test Plan using the Test Code. If the test code that has been informed doesn't exist in the test plan, the plugin creates a definition for this test inside the test plan.
This could be useful in some situations but could cause issues in others.
If you have specified an incorrect test code by mistake, you don't want to include this new test in the test plan because it's a mistake.
Our users are requesting us to be able to select in a Plugin configuration parameter, to select if the plugin needs to create test definitions in test plan or not. For this reason we are requesting to:
- Include a Plugin configuration parameter like "Create non existing tests" with values true or false.
- If true, the behavior will be the current one.
- If false, when loading a run of a non existing test, the plugin will fail the load and will display a message in Jenkins log build explaining that the test does not exists. By this way you will be able to correct the test reference and execute it again.
Thank you very much
