Support token-based authentication

      As far as i can see the plugin doesn't support token-based authentication, yet. Do you plan to support it in the future?

          Yes, this is on the roadmap, but will probably be left until end of Summer.

          aleksisimell ah didn't see that. Great, thank you! Just one more question: Is it currently only possible to use the "root" user of the influxdb instance to publish data? When i add a dedicated "jenkins" user, i'm getting a permission denied error and i cant find any permission settings for influxdb2 users.

          You can use any user, which has correct (write) access rights to InfluxDB. Not sure, but I think you need to create separate authorization token for your user to write to a specific bucket with influx auth create.
