we are using the k8s plugin in jenkins for ci flows - it works perfect!

      BUT:

our clusters are divided between several groups which are not allowed to use each others clusters.

we are setting a number of clusters, and we set the "Restrict pipeline support to authorized folders".

it look like even if we give all the permissions on folder at the root level to someone, they cannot add the cluster to that folder to be used.... only a user with gobal administrative permissions is allowed to do that.

what we are looking for is a way to allow a non-administrative user to allow usage of clusters in folders.

a perfect solution would be to set a list of users allowed for each cluster, but this mught be a larger problem to solve. an immediate solution would be to just add a permission which allows a user to add a restricted kubernetes cluster to a folder...

I can add any details needed to understand our situation in a better way.
