p4 plugin prevents job configuration from update in Jenkins 2.289.1

      The p4 plugin breaks the UI and prevents configurations from being saved after upgrade to 2.289.1

      Problem:

      Configuration changes are not saved.

      This has been tested on:

      • Jenkins 2.289.1

      Workaround

      • Disabling the plugin fixes the configuration update issue.

          For me this works. Does an error appear in the Jenkins log when you try to save the page?

          Please also check if you have the 'Authorize Project' installed. We know that this can cause problems - JENKINS-67328
