I have edited the existing view to add a new job on it. After save, the monitor is completly empty. I also cannot re-add jobs...

[JENKINS-71403] All jobs lost after edit&save of view configuration (regression in 2.406)

          urko murko created issue -

I am having the same issue.  I had 70+ jobs in my Build Monitor page and after the recent update to 1.14-717.v3efcdffe8d58, I tried to add one new job, and I received the same message as the attached screenshot.  Going back in, all my selected jobs were removed, and adding them and saving does not restore them.

I then reverted to my previously installed version of Build Monitor, 1.14-681.vd6817317a_2b_7, and it too fails in the same way.

          Help!!

Currently, you can manually edit config.xml and add back jobs to the monitor view and restart Jenkins afterward....

Yes, thank you, I did just that.  And I kept a backup of the file, just in case.

Will this issue be resolved in the next release?  I love the Build Monitor!

Same issue on our site. We currently workaround using the regex-based job selection but that's a bit too greedy to be used going forward.

Having the same issue on newest version as well as on our previous one 1.13+build.202202120254. Old Build Monitor pages work, but when edited all jobs are gone and cannot add new ones.

Plugins update/downgrade, system restart does not help.

Happened to us also. Restoring config.xml and bouncing not proving effective either. Hoping for an update here soon
