    Description

      Hi Jenkins Team,

I'm trying to get the values of the custom fields, which I created for my testplan and testsuits, so I Don't have to enter the values of these fields for every testcase.
But when I'm trying to get the information in Jenkins, I always get the error msg, which I attached in the txt file.

As the msg states, that the Plug-In recognizes, which item I assigned the custom field to, I don't understand, why the value can't be injected.

      Thx for your help,

      best regards Cedric

Hi ramesh, have you tried changing the scope of your custom field?

          I have the following environment,

          • TestLink Plugin 3.3
          • TestLink Development Prague 1.9.6
          • Jenkins ver. 1.510

I have created a Custom field "My custom field" which has the value "Test Suite" for "Available for" in TestLink.

          In Jenkins,
          while configuring, I have given
"Custom Fields" = "My custom field"

but it's not working. Can you Please guide me how to solve ? ( no custom programming needed, Only via Configuration)

Hi Ramesh, at moment the plug-ins retrieves only custom fields from Test Cases.

We do not retrieve test suites. We retrieve test cases for test plans (these are the options you have to fill in during job configuration), so I don't think we can easily add this new feature at moment.
