Recursive symlinks can break node disk monitoring

      I'm attaching a screenshot that shows the OSX node sierra-3 as having a free disk space of N/A. The triggering condition is the same as is described in JENKINS-40421 but the failure mode described here is much more serious as builds will continue to be scheduled on agents with 0 available disk space.
