With the current implementation, clicking the "No Tags" icon on any build, allows the creation of a new tag, which is persisted on the particular agent that made the build.
However Jenkins doesn't push it to the origin server, so for most setups this is a useless feature.

The suggestion is, on a job to job basis, to allow the tags to also be pushed to the origin git server.
