On several occasions we have found the need to debug and monitor CLI commands. As far as we can see there is no way of doing that right now. Adding a mechanism for this (log entry, or similar) would enable:

• Ability to debug CLI connection problems and see if the request actually reached the server
• Usage of commands; which commands are used and how frequent
