It would be extremely usefull to allow variables to be parsed/processed in configspec field, before commiting it to the specified view.

This would allow to have a parameterized job configuration with a LABEL parameter field, that could be changed and used in every build.

ConfigSpec ex:
element * CHECKEDOUT
element * ${LABEL}

element * RELEASE_CANDIDATE01
element * TEST1
----------
