We have some work flows where the stages are dynamically generated based on parameters and there can be thousands of them.

For these jobs, the Stage View is not helpful, and loading it can take minutes while the job page is unresponsive.

It would be great if we could disable the Stage View altogether for these jobs.

This would be much easier to do than disabling some stages as proposed in https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-48980 and https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-44094
