SSL certificate for issues.jenkins-ci.org expires in 8 days (May 14, 2020). We need to renew the certificate before it expires so that service is not interrupted for Jira users.
The SSL certificate renewal process is managed from a crontab entry on the machine. When I ran those scripts interactively, one of them succeeded, while the other failed. The failure is described on the Let's Encrypt community site along with a work around that removes /opt/eff.org/certbot and runs the command again. That worked.
Certificate for issues.jenkins-ci.org is now renewed until July 2020.
