Description Plugin documentation has migrated from the wiki to the statically generated https://plugins.jenkins.io/ . The plugin browsing experience is much better now thanks to the efforts of Gavin Mogan and others. Thanks very much!

Many general documentation pages are still on https://wiki.jenkins.io/ . Those pages should be converted from the wiki to better pages hosted on https://jenkins.io and then redirects created from wiki.jenkins.io to the replacement pages on https://jenkins.io.

          The typical process would be:

          # Choose a frequently accessed page from the [top wiki URLs report|https://wiki.jenkins.io/.well-known/reports/top_urls.txt]
          # Identify the destination for that page on jenkins.io based on the structure described in "[About this documentation|https://jenkins.io/doc/#about-this-documentation]" (tutorial, handbook, references, ho-to guides, and solution documentation) - ask in the [Docs SIG gitter chat|https://gitter.im/jenkinsci/docs] if there are questions
          # Convert the page to ADOC with the [wiki exporter|https://jenkins-wiki-exporter.jenkins.io/]
          # Submit a [jenkins.io pull request|https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.adoc#editing-content] with the converted page
          # After the pull request is merged, submit a pull request to redirect from wiki to the converted page on jenkins.io
