I use matrix security, but my user has every checkbox checked. Using hudson
1.167 in SJSWS 7.0u2.

When I have a running job, in all 3 locations (build executor status on
dashboard, build history on job page, upper right on build page) the progress
bar doesn't have a red X icon next to it for stopping the build. I have seen
this in previous hudson versions.

Side note: I also noticed I don't see the "add description" or "edit
description" links anywhere (view pages / job pages).
