Distribution group can no longer be used in matrix based security

    • Active directory is the windows Active directory of Windows Small Business Server 2008.

    Description

      Since version 1.21 'Distribution Groups' are no longer recognized.
      They can no longer be used in the matrix based security configuration.

            We also having issues after upgrading from 1.18 to 1.22.
            We are in tomcat and Activedirectory works fine for groups if I downgrade the plugin to 1.18.

            I couldn't find authoritative info from Microsoft on this, but the experiment confirms it, and there are a few mention of that on the internet:

            I upgraded to 1.23 today and getting same error as earlier. I am in LTS 1.424.1. Attached exception found in log.
