Currently the Jenkins slave shows no information other than the current status of the node (e.g. Connected or Terminated).

Could we put some additional information into this box such as:

      • The name of the node
      • The URL of the master that this node is connected to
      • The names of the jobs which are currently running on this node.
      • Any warnings (e.g. low-disk-space) which would ordnarly display on the nodes list.
      • A button to put the slave off-line (this would have the same effect as clicking the button on the web)

      Rationale:

We often run more than one node on a single computer. We share our computing resources amongst a number of projects. Not everybody in our team is aware of how to operate Jenkins.

From time to time a user working on the box may wish to kill the node attached to one Jenkins but leave another one running. Alternativly an administrator might wish to put a node which is idle offline, howerver he would have no way of knowing which master was running any given slave.

This person might not have access to the web-consoles. It would be far easier if you could recognize which slave was which by making them display identifying information.
