I have problems with REST API for view manipulation. Everything I send is forbidden. Do you know if this is an issue? I didn't find it in Jira.

A small example with wget and my Linux.

      wget
      https://mytestserver:8443/jenkins/view/MAIN%20VIEW/view/app3/config.xm
      l --post-file=conf.xml --no-check-certificate --http-user=adminciuser

      g.xml
      connected.

HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 403 Forbidden
      2012-10-24 14:06:11 ERROR 403: Forbidden.

Before this I had a client sending "configSubmit" working fine with jenkins 1.476. With 486 and 487 (which I tested) I get the same result (403 Forbidden).

Does anyone have any workaround for me in the meantime?

I've realized the view is created successfully. However, there is a second request after a redirection which wget or HttpUrlConnection can't follow. Authorization credentitials aren't in the header of this second request.

Apache httpcomponents can keep the session and this works.
