EC2: support new "General Purpose" EBS storage

      It'd be handy to support the new "General Purpose" (gp2) EBS storage type for nodes launched via the ec2-plugin. It's a lot faster and only slightly more expensive.

      I hope to get the chance to implement this soon.

          I'd really like to see this too! I tried explicitly setting the type to gp2 in the "Block device mapping" setting for the root device but it had no effect (type was still Standard)

          This syntax works for me:

          Block device mapping: /dev/xvda=:100:true:gp2

          I think the bug can be closed.
