It seems that Hudson is unable to detect and use the svn: protocol with
Subversion. Using Subversion over HTTP is, of course, quite common, however it
is not the only protocol used. The svn: protocol is also perfectly valid and in
some Linux distributions, is the easiest to set up. There is, as far as I can
tell, no good reason why Hudson cannot work with any Subversion protocol.
