If the repository url is specified as shown in the attached screenshot, it was possible until the latest subversion-plugin to get the current branch version automatically after a post-commit hook.

If I committed into https://svn/Coding/branches/V0.1_ then the branch version _V0.1 was stored in the parameter variable BRANCH and could be accessed in a build step (e.g batch command %BRANCH%).

If i checked the parameters after the build it looked like that:
