Keep Forever button missing from Pipeline build

      I don't have the Keep Forever button on my pipeline builds.  I'm using Jenkins 2.7.1 LTS + plugins updated to latest on 30 July 2016.  (I recall that vanilla Jenkins 1.6? had a similar problem.  Is this a regression or is it a new issue wherein the pipeline job did not opt-in to the keep-forever feature?
