Load times for the dashboard and other pages are not practically "acceptable" by many standards (it is a function of latency and other computational issues). 

This should be looked at as part of tech-debt. there are likely multiple factors - reducing bundle size and complexity is likely to be one, and reducing data complexity returned (ie by using tree) could be others
