It would be nice if the logic in this plugin was extended into a function available in the new Pipeline job type. I imagine a method similar to the built in node() call (i.e. resilientNode()) which just wraps node() internally but catches IO exceptions indicating that something happened to the slave and we should requeue that whole closure.
