Thanks for providing more details. Here is how I would try to implement your requested feature:

• Make the 'last build node column' configurable to either show the name of the node or the description (or both?)
• Optionally limiting the number of shown characters (otherwise the column gets to wide)

Thank you for the reply; I have already used this column called "Last Build node"; but I wanted a separate column which shows the "node description" or "Computer Name" where this job is running.

For example here I could see the Last Build Node  name "Test-win7-t001-x64-v" where the job is running; but the Host name / computer name  (VIHFVM4C173AFE6)  I am unable to see; hence request you to add one more column which can provide Node Description or the "Computer name" where the job is running. 

The extra-columns plugin already contains a column called "Last Build node". It shows the name of the node on which the last build was executed.

Does that satisfy your request? If not, please describe what exactly is missing.
